How the bot scrapes the site weekly

Our AI support widget automatically scans your public website content once per week to keep its knowledge base up to date. Only visible text content on your site is accessed—no backend systems, databases, or private data are ever touched or processed. This ensures your sensitive business data and customer information remain completely secure.

The crawler ignores scripts, forms, admin panels, and any non-visible or protected content. Only what a regular visitor can see in their browser is collected for the knowledge base.

Message Deletion & Analytics

For privacy and security, all chat messages and user queries are deleted after processing. We do not store the content of any conversations. Only a simple tally (count) of questions and answers is kept for analytics and usage tracking. No message content, user identifiers, or personal data from chats are retained.

Information We Collect

• Google Auth Data: Name, email, and profile picture when you sign in with Google. No passwords are stored.
• Site Summary Data: Publicly visible text and summary information from your website, as described above.
• Uploaded Files: Files you upload for your knowledge base (e.g., docs, PDFs, videos), stored securely and only used for your widget.
• Billing Information: All billing and payment details are processed securely via Stripe. We do not store full card details.

How We Use Your Information

• To provide, maintain, and improve the CustoQ platform and support widget.
• To update your widget’s knowledge base with the latest public site content and uploaded files.
• To process payments and manage subscriptions (via Stripe).
• To analyze aggregate usage for service improvement and feature planning.

• We never sell your personal information.
• We may share data with trusted third-party providers (e.g., Stripe for payments, Supabase for hosting, analytics tools) only as needed to operate the service.
